The Camps inside the Ibera marsh
A Deeper Way to Experience the Golden Dorado Program
Why it matters
- Maximize fishing time – No long returns to the lodge means more hours on the water.
- Access new, untouched water each day – Explore different zones of the marsh, far beyond day-trip range.
- Be immersed in nature – Wake up surrounded by birdsong, fish just minutes from camp, and fall asleep under stars.
Guests typically follow a 4-night itinerary:
First and last nights at La Alondra’i Lodge in Concepción, and the second and third nights deep in the marsh — always accompanied by your guide and supported by our dedicated camp staff.
Three Distinct Camps,
One Wild System
Iberá Rugua – Comfort in the Heart of the Wetlands
This is our central and most developed camp, built around two air-conditioned cabins with full bathrooms, proper beds, and hot showers — comfortably hosting up to 8 anglers.
What makes it special: Omar, your host, who was born just a few yards away. His local knowledge and warm hospitality are part of what makes this place unforgettable.

El Disparo – Glamping on Stilts in a Wildlife Haven
Set on a fruit-filled island in the southern marsh, this elevated camp features 8 individual tents, each on raised platforms with cots, mattresses, fans, and sleeping bags. Full bathrooms and a dining deck complete the setup.
This is a favorite for anglers who enjoy nature with a touch of rustic comfort. Swamp deer often roam nearby.

Yaguareté Avá – Remote, Raw, and Real
A two-hour boat ride north from Iberá Rugua, this is the most off-the-grid experience we offer. Two large tents (shared by 4 guests) sit on an elevated platform next to a small dining area and bathroom.
No distractions — just water, wildlife, and the thrill of fishing deep inside one of the largest wetlands on Earth.

Fishing, Nature, and a Deeper Connection

While the fishing quality is consistent throughout the marsh — crystal-clear water, complex channels, and aggressive Dorado — the overnight camp experience offers much more:
- 200+ bird species, plus capybaras, caimans, swamp deer, and more
- Front-row views of the Rewilding Argentina project by CLT, where jaguars, maned wolves, and giant otters are being reintroduced into their native habitat
These two nights offer not just great fishing, but rare access to an ecosystem in recovery — and the chance to live in it, if only for a few days.
