The Iberá Wetlands are unlike anywhere else — a living, breathing Eden filled with wild nature. It’s a place that surprises even the most seasoned travelers.

This leg of your journey begins and ends at La Alondra’i, our home in Concepción del Yaguareté Corá — a quiet town full of Guaraní heritage and warm hospitality. The lodge itself? It’s one of those places you have to experience to truly understand. As one guest recently put it: “This was the coolest lodge I’ve ever stayed at.” The rooms are beautifully designed, the food is full of regional flavor, and the relaxed, Argentinean vibe sets the tone for what’s to come.

But for many anglers, the real highlight begins once you enter the marsh. Watching the sun go down from this perspective is something you don’t forget.

For two nights, you’ll stay at our remote camps. These aren’t just overnight stops — they’re part of an ecosystem of experiences that bring together culture, nature, and comfort deep in the Iberá Marsh.

Iberá Ruguá

Iberá Ruguá is our largest and most refined camp. Recently upgraded with air-conditioned cabins, proper beds, and hot showers, it’s a comfortable base that still feels connected to its surroundings. You’ll also meet Omar, a local paisano who grew up just a few steps away and now helps host our guests. He’s full of stories, charm, and authenticity — the kind of person that makes a trip like this unforgettable.

El Disparo

El Disparo, further south, offers a glamping-style experience in the truest sense. Eight tents are set up on wooden platforms and come with proper bedding, sleeping bags, and fans — plus there’s a spacious, open-air dining deck and a solar setup that powers lights and device charging. It’s not rustic. It’s just the right blend of simple and stylish, surrounded by fruit trees and wildlife.

Yaguareté Abá

Yaguareté Abá is our most remote camp, designed for those who want to get even deeper into the marsh. It hosts up to four anglers in two tents, and while it may not have the polish of the other two camps, it offers just enough comfort to relax — in the middle of nowhere. It’s quiet, wild, and peaceful in a way that’s hard to put into words.

The fishing at the Marsh is dynamic and visual. You’ll work the edges of floating islands and narrow channels from skiffs, casting 8-weight rods and watching for the strike. Surface flies like crease flies, titanics, mice, and poppers regularly trigger explosive takes from Golden Dorado in water so clear you often see the whole thing unfold.

The Iberá Marsh is also one of the most biologically diverse areas in Argentina. Over 200 bird species, plus caiman, capybaras, swamp deer, and — thanks to the Rewilding Iberá Project — the return of maned wolves, jaguars, giant otters, and anteaters. This is more than just a place to fish — it’s a place to connect with nature on a level that stays with you.
