Booking Process:
- Confirm Your Trip: A 50% deposit of the total program cost secures your booking.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 90 days before your trip departure. We’ll send a friendly reminder 2 weeks beforehand.
- Late Payments: Missing the final payment deadline without notification will be considered a cancellation. In this case, all monies paid are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Here’s what happens if you need to cancel your trip:
Cancellation Notice:
Please officially notify Set Fly Fishing via email of your cancellation.
Peace of Mind:
- Travel Insurance: We highly recommend adding “Cancel For Any Reason” (CFAR) coverage to your travel insurance for maximum protection.
- Finding a Replacement: Alternatively, you can find a suitable replacement traveler to take your spot. Set Fly Fishing does not charge a fee for this.
- If you are unable to find a replacement, a penalty will apply (percentage of received payments) according to the timeframe when you inform Set Fly Fishing of your cancellation. We offer a credit—no refunds—which can be applied to rebook any Set Fly Fishing program within 12 months from the original trip date. This credit is non-transferable.
Cancellation Timeframes and Fees:
- Within 30 days of the first payment of a trip booked more than 12 months in advance you can reschedule your trip without penalties.
- Earlier than 180 days prior to your trip: A 35% cancellation fee applies to the payments you’ve already made. You can use the remaining balance to re-book.
- Between 180 and 120 days prior to your trip: A 60% cancellation fee applies to the payments you’ve already made. You can use the remaining balance to re-book.
- Between 120 and 90 days prior to your trip: A 80% cancellation fee applies to the payments you’ve already made. You can use the remaining balance to re-book.
- Between 90 and 60 prior to your trip: A 50% cancellation fee applies to the payments you’ve already made, assuming the trip is fully paid. You can use the remaining balance to re-book.
- Less Than 60 Days prior to your trip: Unfortunately, cancellations made with in 60 days of your trip are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
