Experience Adventure

at Set Fly Fishing Deluxe Camps

One of our specialties is providing access to remote wilderness locations and extraordinary fishing, with the comfort and amenities of a luxury camp. All of the remote locations in our Deluxe Camp lineup offer a rare opportunity to experience nature in its purest form. These luxury camps are all within the same general regions as our lodges, and offer the same level of service.
The knowledge we have accumulated over years of wilderness exploration, led us to form specialized teams that are constantly searching for new locations and unique experiences. The sole purpose of these teams is to find the perfect spot, and create a comfortable and safe camp where guests can enjoy unspoiled fisheries, open sky, and pure natural surroundings without sacrificing a thing. The people who operate these camps have trained for years, and show pride and passion for their work.
Many of our guests have said the wilderness camps were the highlight of their trips, and return year after year seeking more adventure in remote luxury camps, which drives us to constantly search for the next unspoiled location.
At SET, we are always seeking new adventures and undiscovered places, because that’s our passion and vision. We enjoy blending with nature, and we love to share that with our guests.

Ibera Rugua

This is the first of our overnight campsites inside the Ibera marsh, and the closest in distance to Juli Cué port, in the Carambola system. This camp complements any stay at La Alondra’i, providing the opportunity to spend a night deep in the marsh, in a rustic style cabin with all the basic amenities.
You can reach Ibera Rugua with a short boat ride, and it is easily combined with other activities such as a day of horseback riding, or swimming with horses.
Ibera Rugua can hold up to 4 guests per night, providing rooms, and bathrooms with hot water showers.

Yaguareté Aba

To add another layer to the “La Alondra’i” experience, we’ve created a luxury camp in the heart of the wetlands. On the way in and out, the boat ride will allow you to experience a truly unique perspective of the nature sanctuary.
“Yaguareté Avá” provides the necessary comfort that allows our guests to enjoy this experience in a special way. Two wooden platforms, elevated above the ground, support two comfortable tents for 2 guests each, with cots, mattresses, pillows, sleeping bags and a small table. A third platform holds the dining tent, with wooden framework, bug screens, a hard roof, and the essential equipment for our guests to enjoy the best cuisine and cold beverages.
The camp has a bathroom with a hot shower for those looking to clean up after a long day of activities, and our chef will prepare your breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with attention to fine dining details.

El Disparo

El Disparo is our third and final camp located in the Ibera Wetlands. It’s also the southern most of the three, located on an island next to the park ranger´s house.
The island is filled with orange, tangerine, and lemon trees, and an abundance of native flora. The diversity of birds you will see is astonishing, and it is also common to stumble across the friendly swamp deer that inhabit the island.

Northern Patagonia Deluxe Camps

SET Fly Fishing Deluxe Camps allow you to fully immerse yourself into the experience of wild Patagonia. Imagine a day where you cast to a gin clear river, creek, or lake of your dreams and conclude the evening sitting by the campfire gazing into the southern night sky.
Our camp cooks have mastered the art of cooking over an open fire. Prepare your taste buds for a treat with authentic Argentine Asados, roasted lamb prepared gaucho style, and much more.
We’ve been doing this for many years, and have crafted luxury camping into an art form. Our dedicated camp staff will take care of everything, leaving you to merely relax and enjoy!

Trocoman River House

In a deep, remote canyon of the pristine Trocoman River, is our charming river house purposely built to provide an unexpected level of comfort. It has a spacious central room with its own fireplace, and stylish furniture make this rustic cabin an experience by itself. Your host is a local gaucho, who is an expert at preparing traditional meals. The Trocoman River house is the perfect add-on adventure for your heli-fishing trip at Estancia Chochoy Mallin.
