(and Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Book Your Week)
There’s a reason Spring Creek Lodge fills up fast. It could be the pond out front, calm as glass on arrival day. Or maybe it’s the quiet hum of familiar voices and the comfort of a guide remembering your last visit. This season, the lodge continues to be the heart of our Patagonia programs—with a few meaningful updates worth sharing.
Early snow is already piling up in the mountains. That’s a good sign. It means cold, healthy rivers ahead, and consistent flows that will carry us smoothly through the spring and summer season. Great news for trout—and even better news for anglers planning their week.
The fishing program remains a standout. You can float classic freestone rivers or head up to Lake Tromen, our high-altitude jewel tucked beneath the Lanín Volcano, where trout crush dry flies in crystal-clear water. Our two-day float trips—with one night in a fully outfitted riverside camp—offer something different: remote stretches, well-paced fishing, and a starlit night on the water. It’s all designed to meet you where you are—whether you’re a seasoned angler or easing back into it after a few years off.

For those traveling with companions looking for a true Patagonian experience, we’ve refined our excursions program over the past few seasons. It’s now fully customizable, with private guides, single accommodations, and a rich menu of options—from scenic drives and short hikes to cultural visits and wildlife watching. Guests have loved the flexibility and attention to detail we bring to every outing.

At the lodge, the days end as well as they begin. Meals are rooted in fresh produce from our own garden. The wines? A handpicked selection from boutique Argentine wineries. And the bar? That’s become one of the best surprises—featuring signature cocktails, crafted and served by our professional bartenders, that change with the season and highlight local ingredients. On Friday nights, the asado brings everyone together—under the stars, around the fire, and usually still laughing well into dessert.

There’s that Argentinean warmth woven through it all. It’s in the shared meals, the unhurried mornings, and the way each guest is welcomed like family. The Spring Creek Lodge team remains the same, with a few new faces adding fresh energy to the crew. Whether this is your first time or your fifth, we hope to welcome you soon.
